David Watling: Managing Director

Based in Singapore since 2013, David's professional expertise is focused on building innovative client solutions that help clients to drive change and equip their people with the skills they need to succeed.

David’s engagements typically include: managing and leading teams, performance coaching and driving sales growth. He has always been fascinated by the psychology behind elite performance and his passion for lifelong learning is focused on building immersive learner experiences that blend eLearning, instructor-led training and on-the-job learning.

Prior to founding Thrive, David was the Director of Learning & Performance for TTEC a Nasdaq-listed consulting firm. During this role he spent 5 years in S.E. Asia and 7 years in the Middle East consulting with clients to develop leaders and thier teams. David brings a wealth of commercial experience in Consulting (12 years), in addition to holding commercial roles such as National Sales Director (2 years), Regional Sales Team Management (3 years), and Strategic Account Management (5 years).

David studied Neuroleadership with the NLI (US), and Negotiation Dynamics at INSEAD, and is an accredited Master NLP Practitioner and Coach with National Federation of NeuroLinguistic Programming (US).
